Residential Wood Constructed Piers, Boardwalks and Walkways

C&D Marine constructed this 5'x78' wood pier with 8'x24' wood platform and 4-10" boat lift pilings.

Erosion Prevention

In March 2008, Marine Contracting Group completed the construction of a barrier to protect several islands, known as Bird Colony, in Sarasota, Florida from erosion.  These islands have provided a nesting home for several varieties of migratory birds since 1948.  The project involved the placement of 1,240 tons of bedding stone, 2,500 tons of underlayment stone, 2,800 tons of armor stone and 1,335 tons of fill material.

Trex Decking Docks

C&D Marine installed Dining Dock built with Trex decking at the Raw Bar, which oversees the beautiful Charlotte Harbor.  MCG works with several manufactured products to fulfill each customer's specific requirements.

C&D Marine fabricated this beautiful pedestrian bridge at the Toledo Club Apartments in North Port, Florida.

Seawall

Marine Contracting Group specializes in installing concrete seawalls.  MCG has enjoyed the contract with the City of Punta Gorda to replace dilapidated seawalls for the past several years.  Due to the exceptional work performed over this time, the City recommended us for the 2008 Contractor of the Year, which MCG won and graciously accepted from APWA.
